“Life Technologies, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is a global life sciences company with products that enable and accelerate research and drug discovery for life-changing conditions such as Cancer, Ebola,, H1N1. About two years back, with a goal of enabling larger scale, we decided to migrate our legacy applications to the Cloud in order to enable our customers to store and manage huge scientific datasets, perform real-time analysis of these datasets, provide highly interactive visualizations, and enable easy collaboration and sharing.
